This is our mobile outreach program. We go out into the community indentifying homeless individuals and providing them with care bags. We also identify specific needs our citizens have and attempt to align them with the appropriate resources. Our care bags contain: nonperishable food items, toiletries, safety and emergency equipment, water and inspirational literature. We ensure that everyone we encounter knows that they are important and that someone cares about them.
Our food insecurity program allows us to assist Veterans and their families in need of food by providing grocery store vouchers and/or gift cards to assist with grocery purchases. Through our various partners we are also able to provide nonperishables, fresh produce and hot meals on occassion. Our Food Pantry is opened 3 days a month. The 2nd & 4th Tuesdays and designated Saturday. Save time by completing our Pantry Registration Form.
Our Veteran to Veteran Assistance Program is a special project to honor our fellow Veterans. We provide furniture items and household goods to Veterans transitioning out of homelessness into independent living. We partner with other Veteran Assistance Organization to determine who receives assistance. Veterans can also provide proof of service to receive a furniture or household goods donation.
