Your support and contributions will enable us to provide much needed assistance to our homeless and food insecure communities. Your generous donation will fund our mission and contribute to our success so thank you!
Our Community Food Pantry is open daily Tues-Thursday for emergency food assistance. Every 2nd & 4th Tuesdays we do mass distribution to our clients. We take food into homeless communities as well as assist Veterans with food needs through various partnerships with Veteran organizations.
Galatians 6:2 is committed to our mission to support the homeless Veterans throughout the Midlands of SC and portions of NC. We go out into the surrounding areas providing food, toiletries, inclement weather items, and various other resources to homeless and helpless members of our community. We show kindness and encouragement and offer spiritual motivation. We aim to help those who want to transition gain access to resources to assist with their successful transition.
There are a number of resources available to help the homeless communities. Galatians 6:2 will coordinate with local shelters and assistance agencies on behalf of our homeless clients. We conduct fundraisers, public events and collect donations on behalf of the homeless. All proceeds received are used to support our unsheltered homeless and food deprived citizens. We support other agencies by providing furniture and household items to Veterans transitioning out of homelessness into independent living.
Our Veteran to Veteran program provides household items and furniture to newly housed homeless Veterans as well as victims of domestic violence. We also provide meal kits for homeless Veterans attending day long medical appointments.
Volunteers are absolutely essential to our success. We can't do it without your help! We desperately need volunteers to help sort and distribute donations. Each of us has a responsibility to look out for our fellow man.
The Blessing Store has two functions. For our clients it serves as a clothing closet. For the public it serves as a Thrift Store with all the proceeds going towards the purchase of food for our food pantry. Get a blessing and be a blessing!
We provide meals, toiletries, clothing, blankets and other essential items to the unsheltered homeless and the less fortunate.
